Established in 1965, the Kings Rehabilitation Center is a nonprofit organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities. The organization provides vocational training, job readiness and employment services. It offers assistance to develop personal, social and behavioral skills. The Kings Rehabilitation Center provides employment opportunities in the Department of Water resources, Lemoore Naval Base and the City of Corcoran in California. The organization additionally offers bicycle repair services that include replacement of tires, tubes, chains, cables, bearings and wheels. It operates a mower repair shop that reconditions donated gasoline-powered lawn care equipment for future resale to the general public. Located in Hanford, Calif., the Kings Rehabilitation Center has partnerships with Hanford Youth Soccer League, Westhills Community College and the California Rehabilitation Association.
