walked in for a trim haircut on sat. at lunchtime, johnny had just finished up another guy, so i sat down in his barber-chair, another barber was also there, so on sat. there isn't much waiting. they were both very friendly and conversational. johnnie through a cape with barbershop decor around me and listened to how i wanted it cut - i needed a really neat looking trim, classic haircut with part. he wetted my hair down good with water spray, then started cutting/trimming for about 10 min or so to get it a good length all around, then used some good-smelling creamy stuff that made it groom up great and stay in place. he used a blow-dryer for a few minutes, combed it up real decent looking with a sharp part, trimmed around my ears, then used shaving cream and a razor to clean up the back of my neck. he finished me off with putting a warm towel on the back of my neck which was relaxing. the entrie haircut took about 20 min., and i got out of his barber chair looking real sharp - much better than when i came in. the haircut stayed in place really well the next several days, and has looked great for a couple of weeks now. my girlfriend liked my haircut too. the barbershop is decorated with a lot of neat guy stuff, and is located smack in the center of dodge city, on hwy 278 near I-65. hours are 8-5 during the week and 8-1 on sat. here's the real deal - a great haircut for only 10 bucks! i'll be going back for more haircuts here, check it out.
