Hughes Trash Removal

I have been a customer for almost two years. My trash has always been picked up on time. There is never any litter left on the ground. The cans and lids are always left out of the way on the side of the road. And the one time I called the office, they were very polite. So I give them five stars.

For extra credit - I am a runner and when I meet a Hughes truck they always slow down and move over. Thanks, Hughes!

Their websites have no contact information and the number posted on the website is unreachable. Not a good first impression.

To all the customers that don't like Hughes, you should try and work for them. You think they treat thier customers rudely, well they treat thier employees like they are lower than dirt, unless you are the selected few. I know this as I am an exdriver who had worked there for about 7 years of HELL. I would NOT use the service if it was the only one around. I would take the trash to the dump myself. Oh yea, they fired me on Christmas Eve, due to an accident that was not my fault sliding on the ice.

We have been using Hughes for over a year now and I can't complain about the service. I have also rented two dumpsters from them during a home renovation project at a fair price compared to other quotes I received. The driver was great with the placement directions when we weren't home and there were no issues navigating our unpaved driveway.

A friend in Finksburg recommended Hughes Trash Removal. Just started up last week. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a good quality company. They are reasonably priced and they took my cans to the side of the house after they were emptied. What great customer service!

I have never had a problem or a concern dealing with Hughes as a residential customer. Happy to support family owned businesses

I was a customer for 13 years until today. My wife has been treated rudely in the past by the administrative staff and when I called in to inquire about a missed pickup, the manager became condescending and argumentative. I don't expect perfection in a company but I do expect to be treated with respect and valued as a customer. I called a competitor and was greeted warmly by a very pleasant person who understands the concept of customer service and earning your business.

Customer Service is so poor that I just went online and found a new residential trash removal company. Great news is that the people were professional, friendly and best of all, cheaper than Hughes. Goodbye Hughes, wish I could say it was a pleasure dealing with you,

Poor Customer Service. No trash removal due to storm but company is not willing to reschedule or refund the customer for the week that they paid for but did not receive service. Receptionist is rude and argumentative - thinks customers are dumb.

We've used Hughes' service for ten years, and have never had a problem. Everyone who answers the phone has been courteous, and the trash pickups are consistent and clean. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone, but everyone in our community already uses Hughes.

HUGHES HAS THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY PLACE THAT I'VE EVER BEEN A CUSTOMER OF.THE RECEPTIONIST THAT ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THE COMPANY IS RUDE AND THEY ARE NOT HELPFUL WHEN YOU CALL.THE DELIVERY MEN ARE VERY PICKY AND CHOOSY ABOUT WHAT THEY WILL PICK UP AND WHAT THEY WILL NOT EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE BEING PAID FOR THE SERVICE.THEY ARE PARTICULAR ABOUT WHICH TRASHCANS THEY WILL PICK TRASH UP FROM AND WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT INJURYING THEIR BACKS AS AN EXCUSE.THEY CLAIM THEY DO NOT PICK UP TRASH FROM TRASHCANS WITH ATTACHED LIDS WITH ONE HANDLE EVEN THOUGH THOSE ARE THE EXACT SAME KINDS OF CANS THAT THEY RENT OUT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.
