I have been a long-time customer of this Enterprise for many years but this last experience has completely changed my entire perspective of the company. My husband is disabled and receives disability income. While his award letter and insurance declaration page were always acceptable as documents to present for renting a vehicle through Enterprise (all locations, not just this one, mind you), new management claims that this never should have been the case and refused to accept his award letter in a rude, disparaging, humiliating fashion. Given our circumstances, utilities are all in my name so there was no utility bill to present (never has been) in my husband's name. We appealed to corporate who states that all Enterprise locations can follow their own policies. This experience made my husband feel less of a human, let alone a man, and the rude, condescending treatment of the staff was just the icing on this bitter cake. We are filing a BBB complaint but since Enterprise reached out for a review, I am taking this time to let them and other customers in similar situations know that Enterprise is not the family company it purports to be. I didn't feel like family watching my husband go through this embarrassment and mistreatment. While we can accept changes and hearing "no" about a request, it was the manner in which we were spoken to that is the hardest part of it all.
I took my car to Russel for collision repair and was extremely disappointed with their work. Not only did they do shoddy work with the repairs they did make, but they completely neglected to repair certain important things( like the exhaust), AND they messed up the interior of the car by not using a rubber screwdriver. When we took the car back two weeks later because pieces were falling off the car while we were driving, they were very unprofessional, denying any responsibility until we showed them the damage they did to the cars interior. On seeing the screwdriver marks, they claimed that they would do the work, but that they had to order a part and they would call us when it came in. We never received any call, and when we called back to complain, they claimed they had lost our file. Now it's two months later and we find out that our car is not even safe to drive because of parts that Russel Service Center neglected to repair. I would recommend that you go ANYWHERE but here.
My car was towed to Russell Collision Center at 1501 S Caton Ave. on 12-20-07 after I was in a car accident. I’m writing this on 3-28-08, and my car is still not fixed! Russell has since left my car, taken apart and exposed to the elements, outside and it has become all rusted. They made 4 separate repair supplement calls to my insurance company. They have caused me an extreme amount of stress and many inconveniences. Also, I am incurring a great financial burden because as the gas prices continue to rise, the car I am forced to drive is costing me much more money in gas that what my car would have cost me, had I been able to drive my car rather than a rental. To date, my car has been at Russell Collision Center for 100 days, of which 71 of those days were business days. I'm also concerned about the safety of driving my car now because it's been rusting and taken so long to be fixed. I have to question the Collision Center's ability to fix cars correctly, because they certainly cannot do it efficiently.
