I had a terrible experience with this doctor and do not recommend him to anyone. He charged me $1100 for the first 3 months of suboxone treatment and I was supposed to get the rest of the year without charge. However after my 3rd appointment (once they had all of the money) I didn't make another appointment for 6 weeks. They told me that since I took too long making an appointment that I couldn't finish my year treatment unless I start paying $150 per appointment from now on. I think this doc is nothing but a money hungry jerk. Also he rambles on and on and you cannot understand what he is saying and is nice on your first appointment but once you are in the program he changes his attitude. He and his staff will make you feel as if you are a loser drug addict if you are there for the suboxone treatment. Not to mention they have changed locations 4 times in the past 3 years which I find odd.
This doctor and his staff are con artist and a drug dealer with a Phd. They file false claims on insurance, for fees of 1500 for drug test, 400 doc visit, 200 family therapy... They are supposed to help drug addicts yet all they are doing is making them worse just so they can have an extra dollar. I am in the process of bringing them to court as well as shutting them down! DoNT GO HERE
I have been under the care of DR McAuliffe for well over a year now. I went to him initially because I was addicted to pain pills and wanted to find out more about the use of Suboxone to treat my addiction, On my first visit the Dr told me Suboxone is a miracle drug and everyone should use. I never felt so hopefull, it just seemed like it was to good to be true. I will say that he was right in one aspect, I still have not used any pain pills, however on my last visit, I was speaking to the office manager about getting off of Suboxone, she informed me that most people have to continue to use Suboxone for the rest of their lives!! I spoke to the DR about a plan to get off and he said I would just have to tough it out!! I dont know if anyone is aware and I promise you NO ONE at this office will give you this info, but Suboxone withdraw is like going to hell and back and a lot of people simply cant do it. I would go threw 20 pain pill withdraws over one Suboxone. If you want to use this drug to stop your addiction, it works, but you better have a LARGE bank account and be prepared to get your own facts cause this DR is all about the $$$$$$ he will not give you any negitive info about this drug, all PROS no CONS in his mind.
Good Luck and be very careful with this medication and this DR.
