Rachel's Doggie Day Spa
- Tue 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Wed - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sat 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
My pet has been to the Doggie Day Spa about 3 times and each experience was less than satisfactory. If it wasn't that she was there from almost open to close, it was that the grooming job was poor, and appeared rushed. The staff seems confused and overwhelmed mostly. Everytime I walk its like they have no record of the appointment I have made or that my dog had been there previously. I worked in a grooming salon myself before so I feel I am knowledgeable on what is acceptable appearences after a grooming. My dog has came back to me before with uneven hair lenghts, nail polish caked in her fur and hurriedly applied to her nails, along with inconsistencies in patterns of her cut. I just feel that to be paying close to $50 for a grooming an extra $5 at that for the nails, that some care and pride should be exhibited by the final product--being my dog herself. The first time I felt maybe it was a bad day for them, and I understand the demands of being in a service based industry. Sadly, the time after and this last time I believe will be my last. The work is sloppy and the staff seem disinterested in the animals and their jobs. I WOULD NOT recommend you bring your dog here. My dog is a senior and has been getting groomed since she was a puppy, and to pick her up looking in such poor condition was disheartening. She barely looked like she had been given a haircut.
If you want to bring your pet in to get substandard treatment and service than this is your place. Do not let the name confuse you, it is not a spa for your beloved companion, nor will they receive such treatment. I suggest you google for another address close to you.
