My laptop crashed and it turned out that the hard drive was damaged.
Randy and his crew did an amazing job on the recovery.
There were several areas that had damage and I received a complete list of file names with all the details so I would know which parts were in bad shape.
The job was done well and done quickly. Randy is professional, friendly and very helpful.
I hope to never need this type of service again but if I do, I would certainly use this company again.

When my remote hard drive was damaged, years of photography could have been lost. More importantly, there was a bride waiting for wedding pictures, a new mom waiting for her pregnant pics, and a 13 year old's mom waiting for Bar Mitz pics. This was one of the most stressful periods in my life. I took the drive to a local company, Salvage Data. After over a month they were unable to recover anything. When I called DRL I was desperate. The guy that answered the phone, John, was very knowledgable and reassuring. I overnighted the drive and within a day he contacted me with recommendations. Within a week they were ready to overnight all of my recovered data. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Wonderful people to work with and they really know their stuff!!!

These guys are my heroes and absolutely came through in my hour of need! Of course everyone who has lost data feels like they are in the more dire situation and that they need to be bummed up in the queue before everyone else. I expressed how devastated I was to even THINK I had lost some of the data that went missing. They treated me like I was their most important customer (which I know for a fact I was not).Long story short, they recovered EVERY BIT of my missing data within 24 hours and it only cost me $125 where as most of the other data recovery companies start at $500. I was so nervous leaving my drive with them, but know now that I can trust them and can tell you to trust them with your precious data.I hope I never have to go back - but if I do I would feel very comfortable leaving it up to them to recover my missing data. After calling 11 data recovery companies in the denver area I went to data recovery link with a failed hard drive. The drive had 80 gigs of photos roughly 60,000 pictures of my family, wedding , babies and friends. completely irreplaceable contents. they were so understanding on the phone and so professional when i went to their office i had to write a review. I had my first hard drive crash and didn't know what to do. Data recovery was recommended to be by my local Apple Store, so decided to take my wounded computer in.
