Medical Weight Loss
Nutrition counseling is available to all children and adults who receive primary medical care a the Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center. Our nutritionists have expertise in prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding support, pediatric nutrition, eating disorders and weight management, as well as chronic diseases including diabetes, and hypertension. WIC services are also available on site.

The Pediatric Care Center at Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center provides comprehensive and specialty care for babies, children, and young people to age 21.
Primary Care
Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center utilizes a family practice model of care to provide primary medical care to our patients. A dedicated interdisciplinary team, comprised of the medical provider, nurse, nutritionist, and other specialists, work together with patients to manage their health, injuries, illness, and chronic diseases. The self management model allows patients to be in charge of setting their goals with the support of a professional health care team. Primary care services include preventive care, routine checkups, immunizations, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
Family Practice
At Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center our physicians are residency trained and board certified. Our Medical Team includes family practice physicians, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse case managers, medical assistants, nursing assistants, counselors, and consultants
Emergency Care
Urgent care is also available for health center patients who have an injury or illness that requires immediate care but is not serious enough to warrant a visit to a hospital emergency room.
Immunizations
Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center is a private, non-profit community health center serving over 50 communities. We utilize a family practice model of care, including preventive care, routine checkups, immunizations, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.

The grant from the AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation will help Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center to fund the Martha W. Davis Healthy Families Movement Program. This program aims to reduce the risk of heart disease among low-income, African American women of childbearing age in Mallory Community Health Center's community by implementing a comprehensive cardiovascular wellness program that combines medical, nutritional, and fitness counseling with a targeted stress management intervention while also providing an array of enjoyable and engaging community-based opportunities for women to exercise, eat healthy, cultivate social support, and lose weight.
