        Colonial Lodge Assisted Living & Alzheimers Care has been honored to care for the residents of Hunt County since 1990! As a private, family owned and operated business, Colonial Lodge was created to provide seniors the independence they desire with the supportive services they need. Colonial Lodge prides itself in offering residents a lifestyle of convenience in an affordable environment. Our community boasts seventy-three private Assisted Living suites with various floor plans, as well as a thirty-two capacity secured Memory Care unit with private and friendship suites. Our TenderCare facility is the only state licensed Alzheimer Facility in Hunt County MEMORY CARE Placing your spouse, parent or loved one with Alzheimers disease or dementia under someone elses care is a difficult decision. Realizing this, we have developed the TenderCare program based on what families want in a facility. TenderCare is a residential care unity designed to enable residents to enjoy a warm, home-like setting in a safe and secure environment. The staff are specifically trained to care for the special needs of Alzheimers and dementia residents. Stimulating activity programs are provided by our licensed staff and families are always encouraged to continue their involvement in their loved ones care. ASSISTED LIVING Life at Colonial Lodge is all about choice and freedom. We encourage independence but have staff available to offer assistance as needed with daily tasks. Our residents enjoy meals prepared by a certified chef in one of our two main dining rooms, housekeeping and laundry services, beautician weekly (included), utilities, transportation and much more! Plus youll find care and wellness services available, such as assistance with medication management, dressing, bathing, grooming and more. Residents will benefit from a full calendar of enriching and inspiring activities. Beyond just games and puzzles, we offer a individualized approach designed to stimulate all dimensions in wellness.
