If you have a real need for a compressor or service, shop another vendor or contact the main office in Charlotte Norht Carolina. This branch office in Greenville is not very responsive. Chances are they will have to get whatever it is from Charlotte anyway. As a stocking distributor for Quincy air compressors, they do not have many items on hand in Greenville, and if it is ordered or transfered from branch to branch they extend shipping cost to the purchaser. If all vendors did this we would be shocked to know what the actual cost for items we pick up at the store cost. I don't mind paying for material, even if it involves shipping from the factory; however, to pay freight on an item that is typically refered to as an in house or stock item really leaves a bitter taste for service and customer care. Most big box stores will deliver at no cost, of course I know they have built that figure into the sale of the item. I wonder if this is one reason why they look poor?
