Jay's Quality Auto Repair

Been years since I've used them because of a bad experience with them (third time back finally got it right). After years I decided to give them a try again (interestingly I was still a registered customer-according to the receptionist computer) but unfortunately I could not get an estimated cost for repair without bringing the vehicle to them ...strange when two other shops had no problem looking up an estimate for me. Upon talking with several people about my (negative) experience with Jay's in Greenville the consensus is you will pay (considerably) more than other reputable shops for average service in the garage and below average customer service at reception. **You don't know me so prove it to yourself! Call around for price comparison for the same repair and you will experience exactly what I'm talking about...

I would never take anything of ours here again! Paid for the free estimate and drove away fast! Don't fall for the free estimate trick, once the vehicle is torn down they sock it to you! I had them put my truck back together and took it to Jays in Lakeview , MI he was less than half the price. Lady at the front desk was telling me how my truck had to pass DEQ inspection, they don't even know the difference between the DOT and DEQ scary. Asking me what the rules were , charging people for DOT inspections ? I think people are being taken advantage of here, just my experience and opinion. This was on a brake job , maybe they are better on mufflers , but I'm not taking a chance again.
