This is my favorite thrift store. If you have time to look you will find many useful and nice things. Prices are reasonable in my opinion, and if you go on Mondays/holiday sales you can snag what you need for half price. I'm there often and the employees are friendly and helpful. If I understand correctly a percentage of profits does go back to the Vietnam Vets.
I come all the way from Randolph County to this store. If you take your time & look you can find some great clothing for women. Now their children & men clothing isn't all that great. I still love this store more than any thrift store I've been to & my family are big thrifters. Only problem i have is some of the staff can be a bit rude at times, one woman.
We had a washer/dryer which was still usable. The volunteer men of St. Vincent DePaul came to the house, had all the resources to pick up the appliances, were very nice and delivered it to a deserving family that day. They pick up on Wednesdays and called before they came. Great resource for our community!
