Dental Examination
One of our hygienists will check your gum health with a periodontal screening. This is one test for gum disease. She will measure six spots around each tooth in millimeters. This will give us a baseline that is re-checked at each hygiene appointment. It is very important to catch gum disease as early as possible for successful treatment.

Although your insurance company may say it pays 100% of preventative treatment, it is based on their allowable amount. In addition, not all services are covered services. Please consult your dental insurance handbook or speak with a representative at your place of employment. Estimates of coverage for treatment plans is not an actual guarantee of actual insurance payment. We will be happy to file for a pre-determination of benefits for your treatment plan. Pre-treatment estimates may be required by insurance companies for more extensive work (crowns, bridges or peridontal work). The estimated patient portion is due upon completion of treatment. We DO NOT accept medicaid, medicare, or NC Health Choice as a payment option.
