Darryl's Wood Fired Grill
- General Info:
- Since 1971 we’ve been known for our 100% wood fire grilled steaks, ribs, and Southern classics. We expanded in 2010 with a $2 million renovation that included two outdoor fire pits, an outdoor bar, large patio, themed seating areas, new large bar, business bar, and state of the art kitchen. Although steaks and ribs are our specialty, we offer a large and diverse, made from scratch menu. With a World Class Bar program consisting of 24 craft beers on draft, 24 wines by the glass, and a 10-page menu– we’re sure you’ll find something to please your taste buds. Our two-story restaurant has plenty of room for all your friends and we’re eager to accommodate groups of all sizes up to 130 people. You can even reserve the fire pit areas and theatre room for private events! Enjoy your meal in a glamorous theatre room, floating ferris wheel seat, elevator booth, jailhouse or snuggle up with S’mores for dessert by one of our outdoor fire pits. Located across from the Koury Convention Center and close by the Greensboro Coliseum.

Darryl's has really took decor and atmosphere of restaurants to another level. The renovations look absolutely outstanding since the first time I ate at Darryl's which had to be about 5 years ago. The patio is large and unique with two gigantic fire pits. They have included two bars indoor and outdoor. Beer and wine flights are the best in the area with over 24 to choose from. Overall I would rate Darryl's Wood Fired Grill as my favorite restaurant in the Triad hands down. If you haven't been since they re-opened I would highly recommend it. Food is affordable and service is great. What more could you ask for in a restaurant?

Really good craft beer program. 26 craft beers on tap all available in flights (4 oz pours). Lots of NC beers. Great way to try lots of different beers and experiment. I like to sit at the outdoor bar and watch the fire pit. The staff is really friendly and talkative!

I have no complaints at all. I missed Darryl's. I was so happy to find the last one. Service was impeccable. The food was cooked perfect and it was clean with a high health grade. I drove from Raleigh just to eat there, and will definitely return. Hats off to the owners!! You made me and many others VERY happy! Thanks guys! Can't wait until next year when they open one in North Raleigh!!!

Love the new Darryl's on High Point Road. Great atmosphere, great food, and the best craft beer selection in Greensboro. Really love the pork ribs, and the Shrimp and Grits. Enclosed Patio and Patio bar is hot and toasty when its cold outside. Did I mention S'MORES!!! I have found my restaurant in Greensboro!

I was staying at the Sheraton for a weekend event at the Koury Convention Center. After hearing all the buzz about the new Darryl's restaurant I had to go check it out for myself.
Boy was this the right decision! Food was sensational, wine & beer selection was incredible, and the decorations were really cool. After finishing our meal I spent about 15 minutes just walking around the restaurant looking at all of the neat details and attractions.
I liked it so much that I ate there every night I stayed in the hotel across the street.
