BEST BUY.... they never seem to have anything I am looking for. I always find myself up the street at Staples,

or back on the computer ordering the item online for half the price.

Here's the difference between a "techie" and a "computer technician".

A techie is up on everything that came out last night...their entire

knowledge base is post iPad generation. BB is chock full-o techies.

The camera guy at the front is annoying, speakng to me every single time i enter the store.

Sometimes I don't want to speak to you, camera-joystic-scanning-for-crooks boy!

The Geek Squad is a big joke. I once brought them a hard drive in which they could not

fix, but they gladly took my money anyway. I then left the store - went straight in Intrex Computers

and bought a $50 hard Drive docking station, in which I was able to retrieve every crumb of my

data after using. The extended service plan seems to run out a day before my gadget breaks.

These jokers have mastered the art of stocking digital garbage, engineered for obsolescence.

I'd sooner yell thru a can with chicken wire than purchase a phone plan with those doity shuysters.


Very tricky computer sales associates

Went in to buy an IPad mini and got good service at first. Then sales associates were passing me off from one to another. Each one had a different take on the type of internet service provider I should go with. I was confused so one of the 4 sales associates told me to go with Verizon because it took $100 off my final price and there were no contract for the internet service. I was excited and I signed up without thinking it through. I was living off the hypness of not having a contract for wifi service. As I started to sign my contract free life away (to an actual contract) I noticed that one of the screens said something about a cancel fee. I asked about it and he brushed it off as a formality if I had a contract but I didnt. So I signed away to later regert it and having my credit score drop some 70+points well trying to fight it. Their proof was me signing and whatever the sale associate said was he said she said. That was so unfair and completely unhonest and I am stuck with the bill. I know they're busy in the computer dept but there should be some level of honesty and not this "I know the best deal and dont worry about the fine print." sale hype. No electronics for me when I go to Best Buy. I'll stick to batteries and phone cases.


Very Unhelpful Sales Associates

I recently visited this Best Buy to purchase a car radio and left 15 minutes later frustrated after not being helped. I tried to get three different people to help me but couldn't get one of them to help. If you can't help a ready to buy customer within 15 minutes something is wrong. They lost $150 of business from me yesterday.

They don't call it Best Buy for nothing. I can't tell you how many things I have purchased from them over the years. My most recent experience was another real good one. I wanted to get connected to the whole XM Satellite thing. The sales rep took the time to explain all about Satellite radi, how XM and Sirius have come together, the regular channels and the premium channels. He also advised me in rehgards to a home XM unit vs a portable model. Good stuff all around. While I was there picked up a small Sansa Mp3...4 gig internal 4 gig card memory for $50. Like I said...I love Best Buy

Customer Service rep was quick to answer my question on a product as well as provide a price


Poor Customer Service

calling best buy to actually get someone to answer the phone is insane...all the phone does is ring and when you do finally get ahold of someone they transfer your call and guess what no one answers then you have to wait for the associate to be paged to answer there phone. it took me 5 mins just to get someone on the phone.
