People, You have to love ECW (East Coast Wings) because of the upbeat atmosphere with LCD TVs, zero smoking inside, tasty wings and friendly staff. I frequent ECW often and was impressed on my first visit simply because there was no smoking inside!!! (Say YES to clean lungs and no headaches from smokers.) In addition, you can always, that's right, ALWAYS find deals available on their website offering discounted wings, free items, free paid for meals on certain days and other goodies. I generally order wings, a special sauce I like and basket of chips. For those who enjoy watching games, they do have LCD TVs mounted throughout the restaurant and above the bar. As for the rest of the seating, it's tables and booths all around. This restaurant is definitely kid-friendly, so you may bring the kids also. The bathrooms are usually decent and not too cramped inside. The only reason I did not give ECW 5 stars is because there are times where I have to send back my special sauce because it was not mixed correctly or I was given the wrong sauce. As well, sometimes I have to request my basket of chips to be made part floppy and not too hard. I think they should always make the basket of chips this way because who likes eating almost burnt, fried potatoes? Aside from those two things, this is one of my favorite Greensboro and Kernersville wing restaurants. You will enjoy it! Thanks for reading my review.
Everything I've eaten at this place is spectacular. Anything from their sandwiches, to their seasonal items, to their muffins, and even gigantic brownie... it's all great. The waiters and waitresses are on top of things for such a popular spot. They seem to enjoy their job as much as I enjoy eating there. The seafood fettuccine is excellent, but what I love the most is the Autumn seasonal favorite, butternut squash ravioli with scallops on top. I have had butternut squash ravioli before, but you can actually taste the squash while other such ravioli tries to hide the flavor. Just one tip from me, come hungry. Their prices aren't cheap, or really too hefty, but there's a reason for that. Their portion sizes are enough for two. Most of what they make they make homemade, save of course for the cheesecake which comes from the Cheesecake Factory. Yum! It's now my boyfriend and my place to go eat. (the jazz in the background doesn't hurt the ambiance either) So, have fun!
Anniversary dinner, We have been to Ruth's Chris many times. We have been told by friends that Flemings is worth a visit. After calling and asking about taking a special bottle of wine with us to dinner we were sadly told they could not cork the bottle for us because they sell this bottle, this was not mentioned when I asked over the phone. Told us they could sell us the same bottle for $66 if we wanted it with dinner. The food was okay. But compaired to Ruth's Chris it is definatly not worth the money. Going forward we will choose Ruth's Chris 10 out of 10 times. Not to say the service wasn't nice, but for the price and quality we will go to Ruth's Chris.
