I was told about Positano restaurant some time ago by my friends. I finally went Wednesday night and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My friends told me I would love it. We are used to smaller more intimate restaurants and that is exactly what we found. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the food was fantastic. Our server told us that the family that owns the restaurant is actually from Naples Italy. In fact, there is an older (60+ years old) lady actually cooking in the kitchen! If you're tired of going to these box chains like I am this is the solution.
My family and i love this tiny little piece of Heaven. The food is outstanding the music is relaxing the wine is remarkable. your food is always cooked to order. the wait staff is always on top of things. and it is right in our back yard. it is a wonderful place for friends and family to come together. laugh, cry, catch up. share news. best true italian food in the state. the sause is devine, the bread is just baked, and the dessert is so sexy,it's a tiny place you don't bring just any date. you bring someone you love!
I always enjoy the food at this restaurant and they are always introducing new entrees. I only wish there were more than one of these restaurants in Greensboro and that they had not removed the Chicken Vino Bianco, my favorite entree, from the menu, or the berry crostada, my favorite dessert. Most of the servers are attentive, but there are a few that have provided very poor service.
