Attorney Peter R. James has served clients in Western Massachusetts for over thirty years in a broad civil general practice. After graduating from Clark University in 1970 and Western New England College School of Law in 1976, he began the practice of law in Greenfield, Massachusetts which continues to be his primary location. A resident of Deerfield, Massachusetts, he continues to be active in a variety of community activities including the Deerfield Lions Club, Moderator of Deerfield, South Deerfield Fire District Moderator, and Trustee of Historic Deerfield, Inc. The firm offers services in commercial and residential real estate law, land use, title insurance, business organization formation, development project municipal permitting and zoning, providing a multifaceted approach to the transactional portion of the practice. The civil litigation portion of the practice includes cases in the District and Superior Courts of Massachusetts including the enforcement of business rights, compensation for personal injury, auto accidents, land claims.
