When your dog boards at our facility, he or she stays in a comfortable suite during the night to sleep. During the day, your dog will run, play and socialize with other dogs and pack leaders. We always have people in the play areas to make sure that every pup is having fun and that the play areas are safe and clean. After a long, fun day of playing, dogs happily retire to their suites for a peaceful night of sleep. Our overnight suites are equipped with cozy cots covered with cushy bedding. Dishes freshly filled with water are brought to the suites at bedtime. The only thing that must be brought for your pets' stay here is their food. Changing a dog's diet can cause stomach upset and diarrhea, so it is strongly recommended to have their meals sent along for an overnight stay. Sensitive tummies and allergies are also a big concern for most dogs, so having their own food and treats erases the possibility of them eating something that may provoke their allergies or stomach problems. The Daily Schedule Each and every dog who stays with us is given the proper love and attention as if they are at home. •Breakfast is served in the morning right after a good night's sleep. •Lunch and snacks are given at noon. •Evening meals are served after a long day of playing. •Bedtime snacks are also given to make every dog's return to his or her room more enjoyable. •Hugs are given all day long. Every visitor who comes through our front door becomes a part of Tailwaggers of Howard family. We are committed to returning the warm, fuzzy feeling they give us. At Tailwaggers of Howard, we offer a lot more benefits to dogs and their parents. Day care provides a place for dogs to improve their social skills. Interacting with other pups helps them learn appropriate behaviors such as mingling with others in a respectful manner. At our facility, we let dogs run around and play with friends all day long, which will get them lots of exercise. Tailwaggers of Howard provides a safe, clean and comfortable place where your pet can play and socialize with other dogs during the day. Pups who come to play at our facility are never left alone. Aside from socializing with other dogs, they also get loads of care and attention from our pack leaders. The temperature at our indoor play areas are controlled to provide your pets with a comfortable environment, no matter what the weather is for the day. On sunny days, the doors to the outdoor play areas are left open. Dogs can run around indoors, play outside or both. There is no scheduled nap time. Pups can run and play as long as they want. Many dogs rest and take a break to reenergize for more play time, but some have too much energy that they keep playing all day long. When requested, nap time in a private room can be arranged. Tailwaggers of Howard has professional groomers on site to serve your dog's grooming needs. Whether it's as complex as a hand-scissor trim or as simple as a nail clipping, we are here to help. Our groomers talk to each parent to make sure they understand the specific needs of the client and the desired look for each dog. They use only the highest quality of shampoos and conditioning treatments.
