Services/Products
Our veterinarians will consult clients on over all preventative medicine including nutrition, dental care, weight management, internal and external parasite control, disease prevention as well as appropriate vaccines for your petā€™s lifestyle. Our knowledge is the backbone of our clinic services. In order to assist our extensive medical knowledge and to aid in fast, accurate diagnosis and treatment of health problems we have invested in state of the art diagnostic tools. These tools aid us in discovering parasites, urinary tract disease, organ and hormonal disease and heart problems as quickly and accurately as possible. Our commitment to your pet is not limited to our own expertise. For those pets that need the help of a specialist to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of a particluar ailment, we have access to an extensive network of veterinary professionals to get your pet healthy as soon as possible. We perform basic soft tissue surgeries such as spays and neuters. Your petā€™s comfort and safety during these procedures is paramount; we use the safest anesthesia and monitoring protocols available today. For more extensive surgeries we have access to an extensive network of veterinary professionals. Our hospitals have the equipment necessary on-site to perform the majority of diagnostic tests for your pet. Eliminating the delays of off-site testing can significantly improve your petā€™s chances for rapid and full recovery. We also utilize Marshfield Laboratories and other laboratories as needed for non-emergency lab work. After two years of age approximately eighty-five percent of our pets need dental care. Our doctors can provide you with a dental assessment. When dental cleaning is needed our staff has the training to do so. Most importantly, we can advise you on preventative care to ensure healthy teeth and gums. When more extensive dental x-rays and surgery is needed we have access to several veterinary dentists. No veterinary hospital can provide complete care without up to date x-ray capabilities. Our x-ray equipment is specifically engineered for veterinary use. Our on-site x-ray developer enables us to quickly get a clear picture. We carry prescription diets and provide boarding for cats and dogs.

Overall
Expertise
Professionalism

Both of our dogs have been seen by Dr. Rechsteiner, he is always professional and a complete joy to see. He makes sure that we completely understand the medications, if any are given, makes sure all of our questions and concerns are answered before we walk out the door. And the staff!!!! what an amazing group of people who LOVE their job and the animals they work with! Such a blessing to know that when we walk in the door, my dogs are considered part of their family!!!

Overall

We've been bringing our cats and dogs to Dr. Neil for the past 22 years. He even saved one of our cats that we all thought was going to die..and that cat lived another 8 years.

I highly recommend him and his clinic. -Ryan

I have been going to Green Bay...

I have been going to Green Bay Animal Hospital for serveral years now. Most of the time it is just the yearly visit for shots and well checkups. But in the last few years, it has been more frequent since my dog was getting older. Two weeks ago, we had to put our 13 year old Basset Hound to sleep. The staff, most of all Dr. Rechsteiner, was so wonderful. My whole family was in the room and we were all very emotional. Our Maude was part of our family. We were not rushed, we got to say our goodbye's and make the decisions we were most comfortable with and stayed in the room as long as we needed to. I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone who loves their pet and wants the best care for them.

Overall
HORRIBLE, DO NOT GO HERE

We had been taking our dog here for a few years, just for routine checkups and shots. Doctor barely says anything and seems nervous around dogs. Once my dog started aging and developing health problems the doctor misdiagnosed our dog's condition and gave him medication that could have killed him. He didn't offer to run any tests to even see if the medicine was ok for our dog. Told us our dog had a stroke, we later found out dogs don't get strokes. Plus the receptionist is extremely rude and unhelpful.

Pros: Cheaper but you get what you pay for

Cons: Lack of interest, receptionist is rude, doctor seems clueless
