Elaine's Wedding Center

I was on the fence the first time we came in because the woman behind the counter, I'm assuming a manager, was rude and loudly complaining about other customers and employees. I was uncomfortable walking up to her to request anything; she was visibly angry and completely unprofessional. When we were there, we told them specifically that my maid of honor lived in Florida and would be getting her dress elsewhere. A happy accident led to my MOH being able to go dress shopping three months before the wedding. She was told that she could make a payment anytime the next month and the dress would arrive on time. When she returned to Florida and called in to make her payment, they informed her that the dress would not arrive in time. The manager proceeded to inform her that the other bridesmaids were responsible and came in with me months before and called her IRRESPONSIBLE three times over the phone for not coming when they did. When my MOH tried to tell them what we were told in the store, she again called her irresponsible and told her that she should have understood that a payment needed to be made in the beginning of the month. She then informed my MOH that the dress would cost more than we were originally told because she was not responsible enough to make a payment in time. They then repeatedly requested her to come in to pick up the dress, and to get her measurements to ensure the dress fit, even though they got her measurements when we were there, because again, we explained that she lived in FLORIDA. They had no record of her measurements and told her, because she was arriving the day before the wedding, that she would just have to hope it fit. You try to make my MOH pay extra for your mistakes, INSULT HER several times, and decline to listen when things are being explained to you?? I will ensure that NONE of those involved in my wedding ever return to Elaine's Bridal. This was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Elaine's Bridal? IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

Best experience we could of hoped for!!!! From the minute we walked in the door until we left everyone was very positive and helpful .. A big thank you to consultant Maria , you made my daughters day, Maria you are amazing ThankYou for making her bridal gown shopping so fun , exciting, and comfortable. Never once felt rushed by anyone and the appointment was at noon on a Saturday.

During my appointment the lady that was helping me was rude and I felt uncomfortable but I found one dress that I loved and they quoted me a price and they wrote it on a business card. We were at the mall of American and on a whim we went to a bridal shop. I tried on a few dresses but I was still in love with the first so we called Elaine's because I wanted to make sure I knew what price they quoted me they made me talk to a manager. She was very rude also and said they couldn't sell me the dress for the price they quoted me since they would be losing money. We went back and forth on the phone till I was just done. I didn't care if I would spend more money for the dress somewhere else I no longer felt that I could trust them anymore, but in the end the store I was at have it to me at a lower price and to top it off I didn't have to pay sales tax so it was even less. They also shipped it to me for free so that I didn't have to drive back to get my dress!!

Debbie was very helpful and we all enjoyed having her to help find my dress for the Biggest Day of my life.

This was the best bridal shop I've ever been too.They are really nice people, everyone in the shop was very helpful and had positive attitudes. Bride's go get your dress from Elaine's Wedding & Event Center!

I walked into Elaine's after trying dresses on at 2 other shops and had some poor experiences. Elaine's really caters to their clients and really does want to find the best for them... They told me their honest opinions and set me in a direction of what kind of look I was wanting to go for.. They were so nice and very professional... The dress I bought was from the Justin Alexander Collection-Everyone said my dress fit like a Glove and it truly did, I also bought a head piece and veil here that went so well together that really finished my look... :)

I have been to 3 different stores in the Green Bay area and none have nearly the selection that Elaine's has. I was surprised at how low the prices were for such a nice store. The staff was very helpful, so we decided to get all of our bridesmaids, flower girls, and tuxedo's from Elaine's. Getting everything from the same store sure makes planning my wedding a lot easier. I would suggest you visit Elaine's to check out their selection & prices.

Great store. The only problem was that the store is soooooooo busy that you have to be patient. When I first went in, I was kinda intimidated by so many people in the store. Then, I figured that they must have great prices if this many people are here. I guess I would be more leery if the place was empty. After about 2 hours of working with a sales lady, I found the perfect dress and ordered it.

Staff was friendly, fairly knowledgeable but the business is run on a level of deceit.. All the labels are cut out of the dresses, and the staff is not even allowed to even tell you the name of the designer of the dress that you are trying on!! Also- bring your own undergarments- they don't have any corset type bras to use to try on like all the other stores do!! I had to just take the straps off my shoulders of my regular bra!! Also- you are not allowed to take any pictures of the dresses- who wants to spend that much money on a dress without even knowing what it will photograph like! They have a pretty good selection of dresses- but most of them are in smaller sizes- like 6 and 8's (bridal gowns run 1-2 sizes smaller than regular clothes). I highly recommend Bridal Event in Appleton- more selection, better customer service and not as deceitful!!
