Montana Academy of Salons

So went to the Montana Academy of Salons today with my co-workers. I wanted a full set of acrylics done. The student calls my name and asks me what I am wanting, I tell her a full set of acrylic nails. She starts to argue with me saying no we will do dip gel. I say NO I want acrylics I do not like the gel. So she goes and gets her instructor. The instructor comes over and I tell her the same thing. Now we are getting into doing my nails and it’s going very slow. She continuously cuts me with the nail filer. Which of course hurts like crazy! The gal which by the way never told me her name at all, would hardly talk to me. And the end results of my nails is poor. The acrylic does not go all the way back so looks like my nails have a week or two grow out already! The polish does not cover the whole nail! And non of them are the same shape or length! The instructor comes to look at them and is perfectly fine with how they look like complete crap! NO ONE asked me how I like them or anything. I was also told I would get an arm and hand massage after I was all done and that also did not happen. Needless to say my experience sucked. And I have no plans of going back. It is sad that the student and teacher takes no pride in the work they are doing. And by the way the instructor only came by to check the progress the two times.

Neither of my coworkers nails look all that great either but at least the gals that worked with them were nice.

LESS THEN A WEEK LATER AND MY NAILS HAVE ALL POPPED OFF, SO DID MY COWORKS GEL NAILS AND THE OTHERS GEL POLISH (didn’t get tips).

And to top all of this off. After posting my review on Facebook I have had 5 of the students start harassing me! I have tried to contact the school via email and calling and never being able to get in touch with someone in charge!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE.

The school is amazing. The staff are friendly and understanding.
It is a school where students learn, but you still get amazing service. The students are happy and have fun.
The staff are understanding and help with any questions you may have.
The student even educate their guest with home care items.
I get all services done here!

The Salon Professional Academy is very unprofessional. After checking in ten minutes early for my 9:15 appointment, I waited until 10:00 and still no one had came to take me back for my appointment. While waiting, there were several students hanging out in the waiting area talking about partying and using very foul language. At 10, I went back to the desk, and the receptionist was extremely rude. She said, "I KNOW!" when I told her I had been waiting 45 minutes and was wondering how much longer I would be waiting. I left and will not be back.
