We hosted a large meeting at Esparza's this past week. The service was so fast and excellent for such a big group (around 20 people). I was so impressed. The people from out of town kept raving about how fresh and delicious the salsa was, and the party animals in the bunch loved the Shiner on tap.

Great restaurant and great service! We had a large party that came in at different times and all needed separate checks. Our server, Gabriel was outstanding he didn’t let the large party or all the demands stop him from giving great customer service. We will definitely return to Esparza’s.

I lived in Texas for 20 years before moving to New Hampshire. Recently a conference brought me back to Texas, and I had the pleasure of eating at Esparza's Restaurante Mexicano. It provided me with the quick and amazing quality Mexican food craving that I needed to fulfill. The chips and salsa were the perfect topping to the amazing Mexican style meal. - C.M.S.

My waiter was Max and he is the absolute best. My waiter didn't start out as Max but he realized that we needed something so came right over and charmed our entire table. He provided us with quick and reliable service while still taking the time to listen to us and joke with us. He is absolutely amazing and I ask for him every single time I go to Esparza's. - Mel

Esparaza's in Grapevine, TX. is amazing! Our most recent waitress, Nancy was so friendly and helpful. We had a large group and our food arrived quickly, were perfectly prepared and were piping hot. The busser never allowed any drink to get below halfway and was constantly bringing over more chips and salsa. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go back!- C.C

My family and I have been loyal patrons of Esparza's since 1993. I'm in Love with the esparzarita, warm hot sauce and shrimp fajitas! I don't know how you always do the shrimp so perfectly but I wish I could take a cook home to make them for me!! The service is impeccable - courteous and quick. Ive been going to Esparzas since i was 5, it was the place my family went to celebrate, be it a friend in town, a birthday, graduation, anything. Its small town Grapevine Mexican style. The owner is awesome, he lives across the street. The pacman machine is super awesome ( and now theres Galaga!) The salsa is hot and fresh, the wait staff is awesome (ask for miguel, he is the best of the best, sit in the smoking section) I love the appetizer platter, $30 feeds four. Go during happy hour for half price frozen margaritas but BE WARY... One will make you happy, two will set you free... three... well you cant get there from here...

There was nothing good about this place. I wanted to sit on the patio and they refused to serve me there. The food was terrible, and 100% not worth the cost. I ordered enchiladas and my boyfriend ordered nachos, and it looked like a two year old made both. The service was alright, but would have been better on the patio. Spend the same money and go to Gloria's, or spend less and go to Taco Bell, either way your better off.

Great 'Ritas, average food, disappointing service

This place is the place to be! The margaritas are famously strong... and delicious. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes it is pretty good, others just average, and occasionally, it is downright awful. I think this has to do with how busy they get... and they do. They have a spectacular people watching patio, and are located in downtown Grapevine, just off Main. The atmosphere is fun, and the inside is pretty. Be prepared to wait, but with a margarita in your hand, it won't seem so long!

No taste. No flavor. My tamales were like rubber. Food was not very warm.Wife's tacos had no flavor. Salsa and chips were poor. Everything tasted like it was old and leftover.After going here for 20 yrs I am sad to say I will not come back. I would go to Taco Bell first. \r Mike K

Food was bland, produces with mediocre materials. Service was not great, sometimes overbearing, but still delivered wrong dishes/drinks than what we ordered. Certainly a disappointment after reading the rest of the reviews.\r

GREAT REMODEL!!

I have loved this place for 10 years! Every time we go over to that area we have to eat at Esparza's! The Margaritas are serious ass-kickin good! They recently remodeled and although the interior lost some of it's Old Home charm, the bar is MUCH better! Food is always consistently great! I wish they woouold come to Dallas - but then again there can only be one Esparza's - and this one is perfect!
