I remember my mother taking me to Mieras Shoes when I was young. Niel Mieras was ALWAYS out on the floor taking care of his customers. He called me and every young person AMBITION and was always entertaining with his customers. Since Neal is no longer alive the business has been taken over by his daughter and son-in-law. The only time you see them on the floor is when they come down to get more money to count. One of the first things they did was fire the accountant when they took over the business. It's sad when people get so rich that they forgot what got them where they are! PS Great product and also great people who work there!! Straighshooter
I have found that both the service and selection here are wonderful. Very comfortable environment and the choices change often.

I have been buying all my work shoes and most of my sunday shoes from Mieras for well over 35 years. This past week I was OVERWELMEDLY ASSURED why I TRUSTED them as a business as well as respected the products they sell. I had purchased a pair of shoes over 2 years ago that were the wrong size on the inside of the shoe, compared to the labeling on the box. I had worn the too small shoes,(getting a corn on my one foot once in a while, not knowing why) finally looked ,said somethng to the salesperson at Mieras on Leonard. He said no problem,we owe you a NEW PAIR of SHOES.NOW THATS 5 STAR RATING IN ANYBODYS BOOK. THANK YOU ,THANK YOU ,THANK YOU.
Locally, one of the nicest small shops to get good quality and service, I have bought a couple of pair of boots in the past. Got a good deal both times. Great service. Will go back for another pair.
