This place is fine if you have terrible credit (which I do because of massive amounts of student loans; my D/I ratio is terrible), but you have to be careful! Make sure you're reading the fine print, and don't let them talk you into anything you don't want! They automatically sign you up for the extended warranty, so if you don't want it, make it known throughout the process, and be prepared to walk away if they won't take it off...no matter what they say, you DO NOT have to take it. If you tell them you don't have any money down, they'll try to get you to sign a promissary note for a down payment at a later date. I did not sign mine. Get everything you need for your vehicle before you leave the lot. I was assured I would receive a 2nd key, and I still haven't. I also called because my temporary license plate expired and they basically told me I was S.O.L, and that I had to wait on the state to send it. I spoke with their secretary and someone named Dennis (I think he might be the business manager) and he was very rude to me. I asked him when the information had been sent to the state because I doubted they would give you a two-week window if it wasn't enough time to process the paper work, and he refused to give me the date and said I was jumping to conclusions. He said they "might" have it by the end of the business day, other wise there was nothing he could do. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau if this becomes an ongoing problem. Overall, I give them 3 stars because they were able to get me financing. However, they have terrible follow-up customer service (and poor customer service in general), and their facility is a little scary to say the least (it's really small so if anyone blows up the bathroom you will smell it, and kind of seedy and dirty). If I had a friend that asked me about their service I would say, "If you can get financed through anywhere else, don't go to this place."

In July I purchased a 2004 Chevy Avalanche from Lakeland Car Co. Here is the story. I actually went to the dealership to look at a Chevy Tahoe that they had. I showed up right at the end of the day and they were going to be closing in about 30 minutes. I met with Kurt and checked out the Tahoe. As I was looking at it I happened to see the Avalanche. Kurt had just bought it at the auction. He hadn't even put it online yet. I checked it out and I loved it. I told him to sell the Tahoe to someone else because I was more interested in the Avalanche. He ended up holding onto the Avalanche for about a week while he attempted to find the best price for my car that I was trading in. Ultimately, I ended up selling my car to a private party on Craigslist the very same morning that I bought the Avalanche. I got a great deal on it and I was very happy with the price. Later I found 3 small issues with it. 1) the headlight was loose (broken bracket) 2) the oil pressure gauge stopped working and 3) there was a CD jambed in the CD player. Kurt resolved all three issues at no cost to me. Kurt worked hard at making this deal happen I can't thank him enough. My only constructive criticism to offer is that they could work on their communication a little better. Other than that they did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them!
I went in looking at an 04 Grand Prix, but it was in a bit rougher shape than I was looking for (still a great price with low miles, but not what I was looking for). Then I saw an awesome '03 Ranger and feel in love. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, so I told the salesman I was going to go check out other lots and might be back. He said that was fine and handed me the Carfax. I was impressed as hell! The other dealers were so much more for worse quality cars that I came back and they worked with me so much it's not even funny. It got a great deal on a great truck from some great guys. I would recommend these guys to anyone. And to put it into perspective I drove almost 2 hours to come to this dealership on a whim and a prayer. I will be telling anybody that tells me they are looking for a car that these guys are worth the drive. Highly recommend to anybody looking for a good car at a good price.
