I had to call for veterinary advice after hours and was directed to Dr Stewart. After looking up who was on call the after hours service took the time to say, "Oh, Dr. Stewart, he's good." Which I appreciated & took comfort in.
I called for assistance after our 3 yr old jack russell seemingly had a seizure, which had never happened before. As soon as Dr. Stewart answered the phone there was no denying his sincerity. He asked a few questions and within minutes we had come to a very likely cause to our pups issue. One we wouldn't have come to on our own. Dr. Stewart was attentive, understanding, and clearly explained the logic behind his thoughts. By the end of the conversation my husband & I were put at ease and confident with the temporary solution. Dr. Stewart also made himself available if the problem occured again - this was on a Sunday. My husband & I, being business owners, appreciated the sentiment. With Sunday as our only day off we know how much of a burden an interruption can be. I know it's his job to be "on call", but his offer of being available was sincere, and that's what was appreciated.
