Ichiban Japanese Bistro & Steakhouse

We went there last night for dinner with the reservation and talked to a couple in the parking lot before going in, they said the food wasn't that great, but we had a Groupon coupon so we decided to go in anyway. What a mistake... When we were finally seated by the grill, the way the food was being cooked didn't look safe to me, So we moved to the side where there's the sushi bar and you can order food from the kitchen. We ordered tempura shrimp and vegetables. It really tasted bad, it tasted old, no flavor or seasoning & poor, poor customer service. I would give it zero stars if I could but the app won't let me. I will never go back again!

The food is AMAZING!!! The service is not so good though. The waitress' always seem to have an attitude and give you weird looks while your ordering. The first time I went it was with a group of friends and we ate at the Hibachi grill. The food makes you really thirsty and once I finished my drink no one refilled it. It took about a half hour for the chef to come out and make our food. The show was pretty good and the food was awesome. The 2nd time I went, it was just me and a friend. He wanted to eat light so he just got a soup and salad. I got what I wanted last time. While waiting at the hibachi grill, a guy who was probably the manager came out and said "In order to have a chef make food on the grill there needs to be atleast 2 hibachi meals ordered." So we had to move to the sushi side of the building....not a big deal but they were so rude about it.
