We were referred to Marc by a friend when we needed a contractor when we were buying a house and were doing some renovation work. We met with Marc 2 times and both meetings went well and we had high hopes and were excited to work with him. Soon after the 2nd meeting we were having issues getting in touch with Marc. Call after call and message and message.. nothing. We finally got him and told Marc we had to have a copy of his insurance and contractor license. He told us no problem. A week or so went by and again messages and messages, still no response. We messaged him telling him we had a deadline we had to keep and if he didn't respond we would be forced to higher another contractor. He finally contacted us and to our disbelief was a little annoyed at us for bothering him ans acted like we were asking for so much only needing 2 simple pieces of paperwork. He told us he wouldn't stop the current job he was working, not even for 30 min, to go get the papers we asked him for for over a week ago. It was like we were asking too much... he didn't seem to care that he completly screwed us on a deadline so we now had to find a new contractor. He acted almost annoyed that we had to have his license and insurance, stating no job in his 25 yrs of working had ever asked.. granted we had to have copies for our bank to get the loan we told him weeks ago about. We had such high hopes for working with Marc but after completely screwing us and telling us he couldn't get us the paperwork last min I wouldn't suggest him to anyone. We had no backup contractor and we're left frantically trying to find someone else to full the job.
