A joke of a business. I have had dentures for close to 15 years. I needed new ones. Went to DDS and got some. Been back about three or four time with teeth falling out of my dentures. This morning another one fell out. I know that they dont even want to talk to me unless I pay 70 dollars for an appointment. My teeth are not even a year old yet, but I was told your warranty is only six months.. I will never be there again and I will tell everyone my experience and will do my best ...view moreto keep anyone I know from going there. What a ripoff.view lessShare Review

From my first phone call for an appointment to walking out the door two days later with my beautiful new dentures I was treated with compassion dignity and respect. This is a big office with quite a few employees. From the receptionist to Dr Hubnik every single person appeared to want the very best outcome for me. I received the best of care from Cathy,Lisa W, Lisa D, Amber, Kim,Gina ,Dr Hubnik and others . I had suffered for eight years with dentures that did not fit and looked lik...view moree they belonged in someone else's mouth. I consider Dr Hubnik an artist who has
given me my own smile back along with the ability to eat easily ! There were no financial surprises. As a side note the staff was excited for me as well. Because of my experience my husband is now willing to get his long overdue dental care done! I recommend DDS in GRANBURY ! I am sure these special people will continue with their mission.view less
I went in on 9/11 for a tooth extraction. I ended up needing 2 teeth extracted, 1 filled and a crown. I could not afford all of that at once so I had them do all but the crown. My dentist that did the filling was Dr Hudnik. She was great. The dentist that did the extractions was Dr Crosser. He on the other hand is an arrogant, insensitive jerk. After coming home, I was in pain, but I had pain pills so it was bearable. I did not eat anything as both sides of my mouth were sore. I did ha...view moreve small sips of water and rinsed my mouth out as there was still blood. During the swishing, a piece if my back tooth where they extracted one came off. I spit it out and it was hurting. It was late at night so I was careful and called the office the next morning after a painful night. They had me come in and when Dr Crosser saw me he said that that tooth was already broke. No it was not, I have the piece, Well it doesn't hurt. Yes it does, No it doesn't. That tooth needs a crown anyway. I acknowledge that it needs a crown but my mouth is too sore for you to work on it today. Is there a temporary fix until I can let you do it? It doesn't hurt so no. Excuse me? First you tell me it was already broke and now you are psychic and know how I feel? No I just know it doesn't hurt. Well MR CROSSER, I will get it fixed but it won't be here and I am turning your insensitive self in to the Dental Board. How dare you! SO if you go there DO NOT LET DR CROSSER WORK ON YOU!! Ask for another dentist!view lessShare Review
Don't go. I am finally getting on here after being abused by this dentist and its assistance. I went in because I had lost my front tooth--it had an old root canal--the first thing the dentist did was put me half way to sleep---filled one back tooth that he was supposed to pull. He filled four teeth in all and put a false tooth in the rotten broken piece that was left. When I went to get my teeth cleaned ---I showed her a cavity and asked her if it was a cavity. She said yes--I sa...view moreid, well you need to go tell the dentist because he says no. So she went and got him and sure enough it was a cavity. While the dentist was working on me, I was supposed to be completely out and paid extra to be asleep--I heard him say "crap"--I guess that is when he broke my front tooth in half but didn't tell me. The tooth was black immediately. The next day, I called the office and the office manager got on the phone and said, "Are you having a bad day"---they would not correct any of his work. Then I returned about 7 months ago and believe me--I don't have a choice--they received almost 3,000 with my down and insurance. Everything had fallen out--the tooth in the back is so rotten and the filling fell out about a week after he put it in. My artificial tooth fell out and lasted about one year--not long enough for the expense I paid to have it put in. All the fillings fell out because he did not get all the cavity out of each tooth he filled. So, when I go back 7 months ago, they see my smile--and I wish I could show you---and said they fired that dentist. I said oh so you know he ripped me off then. Oh yes they knew but were by no means going to compensate me--their words exactly. Ok--so they go ahead and look at all my teeth--they right down all the rotten ones and do a comp print out--another 1700 from me and 1500 from insurance and they will fix my teeth. Well, I am insulted to say the least. I take that paper they gave me--they are doing partial dentures right--so any rotten teeth that do not get attention and in probably two years, I would have to have it done again--pretty nice scam for them---so I take the paper to another dentist---she finds two more teeth that are rotten that the grandbury dentist ignored. I couldn't afford her estimate but it was much much more reasonable. The Grandbury Denture and Dental owe me a mouth full of nice teeth---I can't even get a job because my teeth look like I am a drug addict--so adding more abuse--they are bullies and want your money for nothing--I tried to claim insurance fraud and still waiting on my insurance to see what they are going to do about this clinic that treats their clients like cows who have no opinions or ideas about what they are paying for. Total disrespect from the dentist--as his aid knows what is going on also, and the office staff---they have a new dentist but the great big scam is the same.
I only put one star but you don't deserve to even be in business. I also know someone else who is going through the same thing---they give them a price--but you aren't done--they charge you and it takes forever---told me it would take six months to get one tooth well-but during that time---I would be paying co-pays etc. and this is extra and this and this--that is what they are doing to my friend. They let her husband go seven months before they decided to fill the teeth that would hold his plate--he didn't wear his plate because it hurt his teeth---so now they are getting charged for what was supposed to be a part of the package. This new dentist that took the place of the old dentist is just as bad--he wants you to keep all your rotten teeth so you can keep giving him all your money--and that other doctor--his partner--is invisible--so don't expect anyone to stand up for you--they want your money---so go somewhere else---view less

Run for your life!! You will need tall rubber boots if not (to get through all the BS)! Get ready for a lot of false information and unhappy staff trying to make you feel like you are never satisfied! Also, bring a family member to help listen in!! I am very sorry to hear your negative review of our dental office, and I hope you will contact me so we can discuss what went wrong. My name is O.Jay, and I am the manager of the Granbury location. We have several locations, and I can help connect you with one of the other managers if you were not talking about the Granbury office. Again, I am truly sorry you had a bad experience and would like the opportunity to make things right.
When this place first opened, they had the best prices in town, and were totally up front about what they did...then they moved to a new building, and they went the way of all the other dentists in Granbury. (Guess they had to pay for the new building by being shyster). Told me I needed a filling, then they drilled a HUGE hole in my tooth, and said what I really needed was a crown (which was 5 times more costly). Told them I couldn't afford it, so they filled it, and the filling fell o...view moreut two weeks later. They said call us back when you can afford a crown, we'll apply what you paid for the filling against cost of crown. FINALLY saved up enough for crown, called them, and they said price has gone up, so it will be more than previously quoted, AND your new evaluation will be $100 extra as well. I said thanks, but no thanks.
My cousin works for a dentist, she says they go to a couple of seminars a year teaching them how to "sell up" and get the most profit from each patient, and how to pressure people into more costly procedures, when a filling would suffice. Apparently this place has been attending those seminars!view less
I have been the manager of Dentures & Dental Services in Granbury for the past three years, and I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with our office. We try very hard to keep our prices much lower than most other dental offices, so I am shocked to hear your complaint about pricing. We have been in the same building for several years now, so hopefully it is not Dentures & Dental Services you are talking about. However, I am glad to hear that you were offered a credit of what you spent on a filling; sometimes a large filling can turn into a root canal. I know that it may have seemed like the office was trying to "sell up" your treatment, but I assure you that is never the case with Dentures & Dental Services. If anything, we take a conservative approach because we understand how expensive dental treatment can become. Please contact the office so I may help you resolve whatever issues you might have with our service. Again, I am sorry.
