This is my favorite sandwich place in the area where I can get my favorite, prosciutto sandwich! You can choose domestic or imported prosciutto (domestic one is a bit cheaper) and both are so delicious! There are many other sandwiches to choose from and you can pick either soft or hard bread for your sandwich.
Besides sandwiches, they sell good Italian cheese and wines at the store.

I liked the decorations in the place. Also the food ws good for the price they offered.

Should I start by saying how lean the meat is or how chewy the bread is? Oh what about their cookies, but I cannot forget their pizza's. I've been going to Italia for a long time and I never get tired of their sandwiches. They put this amazing dressing on the bread, it's like a vinaigrette but has something sharp about it. If you want a quality Italian deli, this is the place to go.

My parents grew up in the Marina and they have been linked to Lucca's for years. You walk in the front door and you just get enveloped in the smell of the Italian food waiting inside. They have the best deli meats and cheeses and be sure to pick up some raviolis to take home. Mozzarella is shipped in fresh from Italy twice a week as well. This place just reminds me why I like being Italian.

Their italian vinagarette dressing is AMAZING, thier sandwiches just taste like enlightenment. Fresh, healthy, oily, and whole, but tasty, fine, pure, and delicious. ALL OF THEIR FOOD IS BEYOND DELICIOUS!

Great food, Great food, Great food. Someone posted they have a rude cashier. THEIR BUSY because their FOOD IS GOOD, Deal with it. It also my be a culture thing. Sometimes Italians seem rude unless your one of them or your use to them and well its and Italian deli with real Italians. Once again deal with it. But if thats not important to you I hear the olive garden has friendly people. Crappy food but friendly people.

What makes Italia Deli the kind of place that... when it crosses your mind there's no turning back until you get that one-of-a-kind, willing-to-leave-your-own-family-for-it, steal-a-little-girl's-bicycle-if-your-not-close-enough-to-run-to-it? For us, maybe it's the nestalgia factor? ... The Good Grub has been coming here ever since it was a Lil' Grub. Maybe it's the mob mentality? ... there's nobody that knows Italia that doesn't love Italia. Maybe it's the fact that they won the lottery back in the 90's? ... ya that's true, but no, they don't slip you a $20 when you walk in the door. When you get down to it, after grueling hours of research and countless mouth-watering subs, it really boils down to one thing... this place just has some seriously Good Grub. Get whatever you want off the menu. You'd probably have a better chance of playing a little one-on-one with Obama than finding something you didn't like, but for The Good Grub it only comes down to a couple of questions. Meatball & sausage combo or turkey? ... Hard or soft roll? ... Small or large sub?. With the turkey sub they give you a couple fist fulls of fresh, thinly sliced turkey, load it up with all the fixings, and shower it with their own tongue-tantalizing Italian dressing. On the other hand, with the meatball & sausage Combo (which we're pretty sure isn't on the menu, but ask for it anyways) you get loads of hot, melt-in-your-mouth meatballs and sausage links dancing the two-step underneath a ""layer-of-flavor"" made of a blend of rich marinara and grated Italian cheeses (were guessing parmigiano reggiano, romano, and mozzarella at least but only mama Italia knows for sure). Take your sandwich choice and match it up with a hard roll (think crunchy, golden goodness) or a soft roll (think warm, soak-up-the-juices amazingness). Then comes the size, small or large? If you need an explanation of this... well... you're wonderful the way you are. But seriously, take any of these beautiful combinations, match them up with how you feel at the moment, and you can't go wrong. Come to think of it, you could just roll in with some sort of ""Italia Deli mood ring"" ... orange means ""I'm starving"" ... go for the large meatball & sausage combo on a hard roll... green means ""I'm exhausted"" ... go for the small turkey on a soft roll. Finally something worthy of The Good Grub submitting to the ""Invention Submission Corporation""... please tell us that you watch loads of day time television, basically anything on the ""Game Show Network"", and/or 2:00 AM re-runs of Harry and the Hendersons (the link is in some other language, but a thousand times more entertaining). Okay, so maybe the mood ring idea wouldn't work, but at least it would help you decide on which crazy Good Grub sandwich to get. It can be hard at times to decide between lose-your-mind incredible and want-to-sing-love-songs-to-it unbelievable. So grab a number when you come in, walk up and down the crowded aisles of Italian treats (you'd think the last golden ticket was hidden somewhere in the rigatoni), stop off in the back to grab a Dr. Brown's Black Cherry soda and brace yourself for some down-right, no-bones-about-it, Good Grub. I have been going to Italia for years to get sandwiches. They have excellent service, and have very good sandwiches. Excellent place to pick up a sandwich and take it home. I'd highly recommend trying it!

I love this place, I have been going since I was a little girl. They have everything!! I could spend an hour in their. And the smell... I buy my fresh basil there, they have excellent garlic bread and the desserts are wow. They make their own pasta, among other things and they have a great selection of flavored syrups. You must try their meatball sandwich, great bread. Service is not overly friendly, but no one was ever rude. Very effiencient service.

I went there to get some shepperds, french rolls and mortadella but the staff was very rude. The cashier slapped the mortadella on the counter and I thought is going to fall on the ground. No hello, no how can I help you, just is this all? The only lady that is nice there is the blonde (I think she is the owner) but the rest are very rude. Obviously they don't care about service... I just buy my baguette in Costco. good bread no sour face to deal with.
The best fresh baked bread and sandwiches in the valley!

I was raised on Italia's cold cuts, cheeses, and breads. I still go there though I live about 20 miles north. The freshly baked bread is rivaled by none. Get there early or order in advance to make sure they'll have what you want. Imported products are tightly packed into this tiny place. The constant stream of customers is a testament to this place's success and level of quality. I've been to a few other Italian delis and they pale in comparison
