138 Tattoo & Body Piercing

Julie did my naval piercing 3 months ago. She said I could change my ring after 1 month. I was told the healing process was 1-3 m's I got new ring today made of gold & stopped into a body art shop close to my house to find out about cleaning my new ring. I was told that I should not change it out for 6 m's after it was pierced it takes 6 m's - 1 yr to heal. The lady was nice enough to tell me I could come back in 3 m's & she would change it & check the healing process. She happened to ask if she could see it. I showed her. She ask if the ring I was currently wearing was what they used when I got it pierced...it was! Needless to say she told me she was going to clean my new gold ring and change it right then & there! Here is why (WARNIG) the ring I had which was purchased at 138 & I was told that it was for first time piercings It was low grade stainless steel and the balls were made of acrylic....acrylic is toxic & can give you an infection also break down & get into your bloodstream!!

I spent a lot of time looking for a good tattoo/piercing shop since moving to the area and am really happy to have found 138 Tattoo. We had a custom tattoo drawn up and done by Steve for my daughter who lost her Dad. Steve did an amazing job and the tattoo has lots of detail to it. I had an older tattoo worked on & more detail added to it, and it looks even better than when I first got it.Everyone that works there is very professional. We've also had piercings done there and are happy with the piercers as well. Very clean shop! Highly recommend!

My artist was Stephen Reaves, he talked to me on the phone numerous times answering all my questions, he was very knowledgable and kind. Our experience in the shop was nothing short of exemplary. Not only was Stephen amazing, but all the employees were kind and a pleasure to meet and talk too. The shop was very clean, and my husband and I will definitely be going back there for all our tattoo needs. Thank You 138!

I have 3 tattoos done by the artist at 138. They are friendly, comical and the shop is clean! I have not had a piercing there before but have friend who have and everyone has been pleased!
