- Ted and Doris Isaacson launched SERVPRO in 1967 as a painting business in Sacramento, Calif. With a background in cleaning and restoration, they soon transformed the company into a franchisor of cleanup and restoration specialists. Selling its' first franchise in 1969, SERVPRO then acquired the Bristol-Myers Domesticare Division and its 175 Franchises in 1979. In 1988, SERVPRO relocated the corporate HQ to Gallatin, TN,with a goal of placing itself within 600 miles of 50% of the U.S. population. SERVPRO held 647 Franchises at the time of the merger. SERVPRO was named by the Nashhville Business Journal: Small Business of the Year in 1991. The business continued to flourish with it's 1,000th Franchise in 2000 and more than 1,650 Franchises operating today nationwide.

Coming home from a vacation the last thing I wanted to deal with was a squish and horrendous odor after I lugged the empty luggage down the basement stairs. I immediately called SERVPRO of Mount Ephraim/Bellmawr. They were so helpful on the phone! I told them the situation and they said “No problem, you’ll never know it happened.” They were out working on my basement within hours and it was drying by the end of the day (I had a cracked sewer pipe).
