Recently my ex-husband decided it was a Volvo he would buy for our daughter, I recalled years ago that he'd always favored the Volvo above all other cars for his loved ones to drive. Safe and reliable with elegant body styles of intuitive linear designs that would remain unchanged, and therefore it's models retain an infinitely "new look" for a bit longer than other automobiles within it's class. VTZ Auto Imports knows this more than anybody else on the block. Sol, the owner, a classic used car salesman with a warm and friendly twist has the memory of a hard drive when it comes to customers. This is because his customers become lifelong buyers due to his family style concern for which auto you leave with. After the Ex bought our daughter her Volvo S70, I returned to pick one up myself. And then again returned to bring my son's girlfriend when she was looking for something cool and reliable. Sol's assistant David reminds you of a kid brother or your kid brother's friend, and is an eager accommodator with a "no worries" smily face appeal. Sol will insist you drive every Volvo you glance at, even if it is sitting 3 or 4 cars deep. No problem. Precision forward and reverse layering of volvos one against the one just moved, a system step repeated by David, until you are in a driver seat and cruising south on the Golden State just amazed at the smooth and elegant ride that a Volvo is, whichever model and however used. Aside from the well assembled collection on the lot, the cars are tweaked and fine tuned before parked for display. All details are covered, from lighters to floor mats to the mechanics within and on the body. Leather is refurbished and stereos replaced. But- the true beauty of the shopping experience at VTZ is, if you happen to eye a Volvo still sitting in the mechanics garage awaiting it's torqs and tunings, Sol will let you make an offer to purchase almost anything as is. This is especially sweet for those moter-head McGiver types that recognize a diamond in the rough or a model that is worthy of greasy palms and elbows. You might even pick up some parts from Sol. If it's not there, he'll be sure to send you to the best and least expensive place to get it. He's just great... he's that favorite Uncle and lifelong friend. Lastly, but most importantly- if the car you picked up from VTZ starts to cough in a year or even 2, go on back to Sol and David. They'll check it out and take care of you with love family style, replacing grills or whole Volvos, because as you know- nothing is impossible or too much to ask for with family. You want it? You got it! Of course, that is if Sol thinks it's the right thing for you and himself, of course. He strives to make everybody happy before, and most importantly- after any transaction. Me- I will always drive a Volvo from here on. And when I'm ready to trade mine in, I'm going to VTZ to see Sol and David and what they've got on the lot at the time. I will continue to send my own friends and family there to give it a look whenever anyone is on the market for a new vehicle or an upgrade. Because at VTZ- You'll leave the lot happy whether you're going home with a new ride that day or not. In any case, you really gotta go there just to chat with Sol. He's a knowledgeable and wise man that you'll always share laughs with- and usually, you'll also share a pretty darn good deal on the car that you never knew you'd always wanted. VTZ is holding a new or used Volvo that you will inevitably fall in love with because Sol- more often than not, he's an on target matchmaker. looking for a safe and cool ride? Go to VTZ. If he doesn't have the Volvo you're looking for, just tell him he'll keep an eye out for ya. Sol at VTZ Auto Imports, he's the "Cupid of Cars and Drivers"
LTZ Auto Imports is awesome! I love Volvos and these guys know Volvos. I had a 240DL that was accidentally totaled (!) by a neighbor. I saw an ad on Craigslist for a beautiful white rose in the desert, a 4 door sedan with a sunroof. I called David realizing I was calling afterhours, intending to leave a message. David picked up his cell phone and said he'd be happy to meet me even though it was late afternoon on a Sunday. When I saw the car I was amazed, it was gorgeous. David worked with me to get a good deal and was kind enough to work with me on time while I received an insurance setllement check. He gave the car a thorough inspection before handing it off and noticed the radiator had an issue. He replaced the entire radiator before selling the car to me saying he preferred to make people happy and have repeat customers. When I came in to setlling payment Saul knew all the ins and outs of the formalities. He seemed to know his Volvos and it was fun visiting his office filled with Volvo chotchkes and memoribila. I happened to mention that I would need to return my rental car before collecting my new beautiful new ride. Saul and David offered to drive to the rental company and wait to pick me up. Insanely caring service, like family, unheard of in LA! I drove home extremely happy. The next evening someone must have taken the casing from the headlight on the front of the car. I was extremely sad and called Saul and David to ask what could be done. Exterior was not covered in a limited warranty and so I expected to pay, but Saul and David replaced the entire headlamp unit with no charge whatsoever. These guys are out of this world. I love LTZ Auto!
I read some iffy things about this place online, but the reality is that we bought a car from here and one from Beverly Hills BMW at around the same time, and this was SO MUCH better of an experience. I came in knowing what I wanted and with cash in hand, which will help you with any small dealership. I just wanted to see if the car was as represented but I was ready to buy. They were honest about the car and I got a great, fair deal on it. I thought Saul and David were both a pleasure to deal with. The best part was, no waiting for HOURS while a salesman and sales manager played their little b.s. games. Saul is the decision maker, he's either going to take your offer or not, but you won't get your valuable time wasted. We were in and out in less than an hour and I'm driving a black Volvo convertible that I love. Two thumbs up!
