quick delivery in comparison to sedthee, which i waited an hour for. no delivery charge! prices are good and the food was yummy. i enjoyed the tom yum soup the most. my original review above was for delivery and my review below is for eating at the restaurant: the seating is limited, about 10 tables or so, but we went at 12 and seemed to have no problem getting a seat. the lunch specials come with a small soup and salad and they are reasonably priced. i had the pad thai, and was not too impressed with it. the flavors didn't real hit it with me. thai tea was good - not too sweet like some other places. next time, i'll just stick to the soup. this is located in the heart of DT Glendale, so parking is limited to Brand street and is metered.
I just moved to the Glendale area 2 months ago, and this place is probably my favorite Thai place...and there's a LOT of Thai around here. It's next to a small parking lot, which is great in downtown Glendale where parking can be a hassle. I think it's 38 minutes per .$25 cents - also much better than Brand St. parking prices. The restaurant is what is says - kozy. Small, and not very many tables so if you're looking to get in quick, get in early before it fills up. I had the Tom Yum Noodle soup today and it was delicious! I've also ordered take-out from here and had the Panang Curry, Yellow Curry, and Pad Thai. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Oh, and the thai iced coffee was perfect!
I ordered online to have it delivered to my house since I just moved here and don't have a fridge yet (RIP). Delivery time was on time and the driver was super friendly. The yellow curry was really good although I wish the chicken pieces were a bit smaller. I kind of ended up with 3 giant pieces of chicken amongst my potatoes and carrots. I would definitely order the curry again though. The only reason I knocked one star off was for the wontons. While they looked good, they were very over fried and the meat was almost non-existent. I wouldn't order those again sadly. Would definitely give them a second go though. Maybe I'll try the satay next time.
