Virgil's is the kind of place that has to come up with a gimmick or two to keep from being squashed by Home Depot and Lowe's. I popped in there for some liquid drain opener and was treated well and offered a particular product. When it didn't work I brought it back for a refund. Though they gave it after I was persistent-- I was treated like some sort of criminal trying to cheat them. They're gonna need to do something different or we're all gonna be going to the liquidation sale.

Came in to get some keys made and to pick up some potting soil and a lightbulb. Easy in, easy out. Customer service was good. I'm a woman, so I always get asked when I walk into a hardware store if I need help. Parking is super easy and I love that I don't have to deal with the warehouse size of home depot.
I've been here twice for some small faucet needs- and both times, the plumbing staff helped steer me in the right direction. It was a complete opposite experience from my last plumbing-related trip to Home Depot.
