I bought a Bosch 65-850B battery from this Pep Boys a few years ago with one of their Alternators. In the last two weeks I got jump started by AAA twice and Jones Ford Checks the Battery and says it won't fully hold a charge and shows me. I then go to O'rei[lys and have them check it and they put it on a charger and a few hours later says there's a dead cell because it won't fully charge.
I'm DISABLED and get it taken out of the truck and get a ride from Wickenburg to Glendale with the battery. The cashier takes the battery and in less than 5 minutes returns with the battery and says it's fine. Really because I've seen where it's not 100%, in fact I call Bosch Hotline and tell them the problem and they say the battery in Good Condition should have a 13.9v or better on a meter after being charged. The employee refuses to replace the battery under the Warranty. The printout he gives me says the Avg. Life in the area for the battery is 30mos and mine is almost 36mos. But he still gives me attitude.
I ask for the District Managers name and as he's turns his back to me and walks away yells out Mark. If there was another Pep Boys in the area I'd go there. Clearly the battery has Issues but this employee didn't want to work to resolve it. It's not like they were busy with one guy looking around the store at things.
