- We are a family-owned and operated company, now in our 16th year of business. Please visit our brand new showroom in the Springwater Plaza shopping center on Route 202 (southbound side, just past Mackenzie's Brew House and Concordville Nissan Subaru). We have over 50 units on display, more than 20 of which can be burned (including an amazing cast-iron wood stove that heats the store in the winter). We can install any unit we sell, if needed. We offer the area's largest in-store selection of fine and unique tools, screens, wood holders and other hearth accessories. We also offer custom fireplace screens, glass doors, wood mantels and stone facing. I agree with the below reviewer. This is a horrible company to deal with. Watch for the bait and switch. NEVER give them your credit card number - they find ways to charge it without your approval. More importantly, you have to be concerned with the work performed even if they do show.
Don't ever do business with Chadds Ford Fireside Shop. I called to schedule to have them come out for a consultation on getting a fireplace insert installed. They informed me that it was $100 for the consult, which could be credited toward a purchase from them. They took a credit card number. A few days later, and still a few days before the scheduled consult, I called to cancel as I no longer needed their services. I had seen that my card had already been charged, so I asked for confirmation that it would be refunded. Instead, I was told that it was non-refundable "as it says on the sheet". Note, my appointment was made over the phone. I had seen no sheet. I asked to speak to the owner. When the owner, Eric, called me back, his rudeness was unlike anything I have previously encountered in a business transaction. He claimed to have emailed me information stating that the charge was non-refundable. When I pointed out that I had received no such email (and yes, I checked my spam and deleted emails folders,) he got loud and insisted it was sent. When I pointed out that he was charging me for services he had not rendered, he talked about getting the police involved. It was bizarre and beyond unprofessional. He then hung up on me. Needless to say, the charge is being disputed, but I'm letting you all know about it so that you can avoid going through the same experience.

Provided by SuperpagesI have been planning to get a secondary heating source for my home with an elaborate design. I was not sure whether I wanted gas or wood since cost was part of my decision. Interestingly enough I went to various establishments to find all the correct answers. All that I found was there was not much desire to help me or even follow up with me regarding my search. I was then referred by a friend to go to Chadds Ford Fireside Shop, THANKFULLY! They took an interest and time to explain all of my options which would work best for my application and how to finish it with a Mantel and Accessories. My Fireplace is Beautiful and has added Elegance to my Living room. I will continue to return to Chadds Ford Fireshop for my future endeavors! I am a customer for Life! Thank You ! Provided by SuperpagesMy husband and I were looking to put in a wood burning insert in our new home. We wanted to work with a Fireplace Store that would accommodate all of our needs. Luckily we found Chadds Ford Fireside Shop, which did all of that for us. Their Show Room is Beautiful. The Knowledge and Customer Service is Outstanding. The Staff is there every step of the way to make sure the project is completed to all specifications. We were able to get the appropriate unit for our Fireplace and have it installed in a timely and professional manner. Chadds Ford Fireside Shop in Glen Mills took us through all of the steps of the process and installation. They install and service what they sell which is awesome and convenient as well. It was one of the most pleasant and satisfying experiences. I would highly recommend Chadds Ford Fireside Shop for those in need of products relating to the Fireplace Industry. We are just thrilled! Provided by SuperpagesThe crew at Chaddsford Fireside Shop is awesome. They helped me pick out the best insert to put into our existing fireplace. We saved a ton of money on heating bills this winter, plus we were able to take advantage of the energy saver tax credit.
