Five Guys

Five guys has great burgers. Took my Dad there and it's the only fast food burger that he will eat because it reminds him of the burgers from the 1950's which were made high quality, fresh ground beef. On the down side I have been pretty disappointed with the service lately. Guy taking our orders was a bit of a jerk. Just kind of quick, rude, and snappy. Then the cooks want to have social hour while they are preparing the orders. There were about 4 people waiting on orders. All of us were so frustrated that we were discussing getting our money back and walking out. My Dad and I waited 25 minutes for our number to be called. When we asked a out our order the cashier guy said "When your number is called...that is when your order is ready." My Dad said, "I understand but we've been here over 20 minutes." The cashier, just repeated himself and added: "We will let you know when your order is ready.". Pretty sad because it is a great franchise with delicious burgers. However, hiring the wrong employees can drive your loyal customers away. They just act like they don't want to be there and the customers are the ones who have to suffer which will ultimately cause the business to suffer. Gave it 4 stars because I really enjoy the food...had to take a star away because of the (less than professional) service and unreasonable wait time to receive our food.
