Complete Family Eyecare

After gardening on Saturday, I had something in my eye. Thank goodness Complete Family Eyecare was open and they were able to get me in. Dr. Patel removed some small particles from my eye and it felt much better.



Through the night both my eyes got worse, actually really bad. In the morning my face was swollen and my eyes were nearly swollen shut and weepy. I had been pulling poison ivy the day before. I was pretty sure I was having an allergic reaction. So I called again Sunday morning and got Dr. Gray on an emergency call. She recommended that I see my PCP or go to an instant care facility immediately. She also wanted to see me in her office as soon as I finished seeing the PCP.



I went to Patients First where the doctor confirmed I was having an allergic reaction then started me on steroids and told me I needed to see an optometrist. I then went directly to Complete Family Eyecare where Dr. Gray met me. This was a Sunday morning! Dr. Gray diagnosed that I'd developed a double eye infection in addition to the allergic reaction. She started me on a prescription eye drop and drops for the itching.



The doctor at Patients First was impressed that an optometrist would see me on a Sunday. I was very grateful for the wonderful care.

My choice in eye care!!! I Love this office, whether it's a routine exam or an emergency, the staff is always attentive and professional. Dr. Gray is very knowledgeable, informative, very personable and hip. Her exams are very thorough and she always takes the time to listen to your concerns.

Do not go. The office staff is not knowledgeable about what your insurance covers and makes claims to you without checking first what they do and do not cover. When confronted the office staff manager on two occassions made statements that were not true, then threw the doctor under the bus by pretending to read the "doctors" notes and then when I spoke with the doctor she clearly did not have what the manager said in the notes....yet for whatever reason the doctor still let her get away with it. Why she would ruin her own reputation is beyond me. My daughter did like Dr. Gray as far as the examination. However, when she went to pick up her glasses, which were not cheap, they obviously never even took the time to check them out before calling her to come pick them up, because when she went the lens was clearly cracked!!!! She went a second time to pick the "new" ones up and they too were damaged with the paint chipping all around the lenses. You would think after all the trouble we had they would have taken the time to look them over and make sure they were perfect....NOT....they wasted her time yet again! We all make mistakes and we all have bad days, but outright lying and not taking responsibilities for your actions is just not right. I do not like leaving anyone a bad review, as I said we all make mistakes and have bad days but this was a total so far of four bad things happening for the very first time using this office.
