The women (Patricia, Laura, Tiffany) up front are wonderful! They make a point to say hello and goodbye to everyone that comes through. They have always been very helpful, and even have been a great sounding board when I need to think things out loud.I feel very confident leaving my children at this daycare. I researched and visited several other daycares, including other Sunrise schools and this one stood out above the rest. You can tell right away these ladies love and care for their kids, and it s more than just a job to them. It is nice to have a safe place for my kids to be cared for that also uses discipline techniques that work. Not only are my kids taken care of, they are constantly learning new things. My oldest struggled with behavior issues and the teachers here made it their mission to help us through it. I can honestly say he wouldn t have been so successful without their help. Not only do I get written communication of any upcoming events, or daily issues (good or bad) most of the teachers take time to tell me about the boys days when I pick them up at night. One of the hardest things to do is leave your children under someone else s care, but it was obvious very quickly how much they loved it. One of my youngest boy s first words was Dana (his teacher). I have been very happy with the service I have received over the past 3 years and wouldn t want to take them anywhere else. I could give countless examples why this daycare is so outstanding but to sum it up shortly: I love these women like family and am so greatful for their love of children.
My two children went to the Goddard school on Higley road for about a year. We left two months ago moving to another Goddard school on East Coast. While I did appreciate the school on Higley Road very much, I didn t bother of writing a review until now. After being in another Goddard school, I now feel compelled to tell people how special a place we had back in Gilbert, Arizona! The one on Higley Road is definitely special. There were a lot of small things the new owner brought to the school which made the experience very memorable. From the Keurig coffee machine in the foyer, to the care and warmth of the staff. From the quiet determination to improve the education level to the free Parents Night Out (and they even watched the siblings of the enrolled students for free). From the first rate reading program to the first rate Phoenix Zoo visit. What we miss most is the personal attention given to us parents. When we were there, we thought those things were nice to have. Now in another environment, we know those were the luxury we deserved. We like the school we are in now. But we definitely LOVE the one we left behind. Good luck, you guys! With affection,
I am an MD so I naturally look for health and safety issues in any place my son is in. And I love this place, with their very stringent procedures and strong sense of security. Besides a great childcare facility, this school pushes more on the educational side. My son has learned so much since attending this school, to compare with his previous expensive preschool in the same general area. The staff, especially the owner, is very caring for my son and every child in the school. I eventually think of this place more like an extended family than my son's school. And they have so many extra fun activities such as the Fall Festival, or the Parents' Night Out, etc. without charging the parents any extra. I am better off than some people, but still appreciate not being nickel-and-dimed every time my son is served a small slide of pizza. If I were you, I would check out this place. Don't just read the reviews, find out for yourself. MarkR, MD
