Emergency Animal Clinic

While I was relieved to discover someplace with Sunday hours, the attitude of the tech we encountered, was horrendous. I wish I could post this with less than one star. We came in with our 15 year old dog, who was very much a member of our family, and we were already distressed, suspecting the news might not be good but hoping there might be another answer. Unfortunately, we had to put her to sleep. When we brought our teenage son in so he could say goodbye to his beloved dog, this insensitive woman comes in, informs us she will give us 10 minutes to "decide and get it done", as I am clearly crying and in the middle of explaining to my obviously heartbroken child what is going on. I understand you need to be professional but a bit of respect and compassion, would go a long way. Our regular vet, who has handled these matters for us in the past, is so much more compassionate, went out of his way to be as comforting as possible and was incredibly respectful. NEVER AGAIN!

I have worked in a few animal hospitals and been to many with the pets I have over the years. I have to honestly say this is the best place I have ever been. They genuinely care about your pet first, not money, like most other vets. My little girl was doing poorly and the staff took over as soon as we arrived. They showed the utmost respect and compassion I have ever experienced with an animal hospital. I had explained over the phone that we were short on money until payday and the receptionist just said; bring her in. We don't your friend to suffer. So nice! They worked out a payment plan with us that was so helpful. I recommend this hospital with all my heart

I have 3 Labrador's and 2 Golden Retriever's, the youngest is 5 years. As a results of having a "herd" of pets we have had to take them for emergency service on a number of occasions. The Gilbert Emergency clinic beats the dickens out of the others that we have tried. They were very busy but kept us informed of what was going on and when it came our turn the doctor we talked to was kind and able to explain to us what was wrong in a way that I could understand. I felt that I was respected as a person. I have felt that some other places we have been talked down to us.They took very good and loving care of our pet and the fee that we paid I thought was more than reasonable.I would recommend the Gilbert Emergency Clinic to any one.I also noted that they have other specialty veterinary practices in the same building.

This hospital is excellent my dog was so ill the staff came out to the car. My dog was put on a gurney and covered with towels. The staff took him back to the critical care room. They came out and I signed papers and he was given immediate pain medicine less than 10 minutes after arrival. The staff explained exactly what needed to be done and asked what we wanted so the Vet could get to work on him. Our dog was 12 1/2 years old the prognosis was not good. The Vet was so kind and compassionate and explained different options . I do not believe in keeping animals that are old and in pain alive.. We did have to put our baby to sleep. I would go to this hospital again they are excellent. Always 2 VETS in the care room unlike some other idiot hospitals with only 1. They get 5 stars and I thank them for taking care of my baby.People remember we do not have Universal Health Care in the US WE should for People and Animals. But thank God I had the money to put but would gladly go in debt to do whatever it takes to get my babies in fur the care they need.

I went to the animal hospital on juniper in Gilbert and it was the worst experience I have ever had. My dog had fallen into a canal and they did all sorts of test and charged $980 not including the medicine. They sent us home with a drugged up dog and by the time that the pain medicine wore off my dog was in so much pain I needed to bring him back. They then explained that the doctor that we first saw had gone home so we would have to pay another initial $108 for a new doctor, when we were just there 4 hours prior!!!! We were so worried that we did not care about the cost. Right before we were leaving to the vet my 2 year old dog passed away all because this vet only cared about money and not about the well being of the animals. They should have never sent home a dog in that condition and even worse they just put the dog to sleep so we did not know how bad it was until the medicine wore off!! The most they could have done is informed us of the condition and kept him over night s
