Ken Crain, Attorney

I would highly recommend Mr. Crain for legal help. He handled my divorce case better than I could have asked for and he always always kept me informed of what was going on and what would be happening. When my ex-wife's attorney would drag his feet Mr. Crain did his best to get them moving again. AWESOME job Mr. Crain!! Thank You!!

I had a very positive experience with Ken Crain. I’m selective about choosing attorneys, physicians, and dentists, and I do my homework. I was impressed with Ken Crain’s website, which is very informative and up-to-date. I was able to educate myself at zero cost about a number of legal issues that saved me time and future problems. I also learned a lot from his website that was helpful to me in understanding my legal situation, including a way for resolving my problem that was based on relatively recent legislation that I had not seen before on any other attorneys’ websites.



When I phoned him, I was pleased (and surprised) that he answered the phone personally. I asked a ton of questions, as I always do when I am interviewing a professional. Unlike many attorneys, his answers were clear and to the point; he did not try to scare me with a lot of disaster scenarios, nor waste my time trying to impress me with a lot of fluff and tangentially related legal mumbo-jumbo. He is a straight shooter and gave me the realities of the situation, as well as a very fair flat fee, the amount of which was in fact listed on right there on his website.



I phoned in a credit card payment on a Friday afternoon after 5 pm. He told me that since he already had other work scheduled for Saturday, it would probably be Sunday afternoon before he could have a draft of what I needed, but that was still enough time for him to file it first thing on Monday morning. I told him I thought Sunday afternoon would be fine. To my surprise, only about an hour later at 6:30 pm on that Friday, I had already received an emailed draft from him.



I liked that he asked me to be sure that all the personal information on the draft document had been typed correctly, and it was. He told me exactly what was going to happen and when, and it did. He made himself available on Sunday afternoon for me and another client to come in to sign paperwork, and he filed the documents on Monday morning just as he said he would. The day before the hearing there was some resistance that came up from the other side, and he handled it efficiently, and in a way that both sides were satisfied. The hearing went smoothly and as exactly as hoped, and within an hour of him returning to his office, he emailed me a PDF copy of the court documents, without me even having to ask.



In summary, my experience with Ken Crain was smooth, fairly priced, and successful. He was attentive to details, and up-to-date on the legal area of importance to my situation. He was proactive about providing me with documentation, information, and followup every step of the way, which I really like. I would definitely use him again, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends.
