On 3/27 I talked with Tommy about getting a transmission for my 2006 Explorer. He told me it would take 3-4 days. On 3/28 I order and paid for the transmission. 6 days later I called the store asking where was my transmission and why had they not called me to tell me it was back ordered. I then talked with Brian, whom I thought was an Ast. manager, and his words were "I guarantee you your transmission will be here Friday." Well on Friday at 3 PM, I called THEM looking for my transmission and was told it would be here "first thing" Monday morning. Called the district manager, Gram, and he said there was nothing he could do but promised me it would be here Monday morning. Monday at 12:30 called to find out where my transmission was but no one knew? Finally at 2:30 I was called by the store manager Noel and told that my transmission was in and would be delivered right away. I understand things get back ordered or delayed, what I don't understand is why no one at that store could pick up the phone and call me to tell me but I had to wait to find out when I called them AFTER it had been "promised or guaranteed" to be delivered on that day 4 diferent times. In the end, can't trust what they say! I just hope the transmission is more reliable than their word.
