Sussex Technical School District, established in 1961, offers technical and academic programs to more than 1,100 students in grades eight through 12. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, social studies, American history, economics and physical education. It offers various technical courses to students that include automotive technologies, computer information and business systems, environmental studies, media broadcasting, health care, cosmetology, criminal justice, carpentry, digital publishing and print design. The various extracurricular activities offered by the district include band, choir, National Honor Society, Odyssey of the Mind, key club and student government. It also provides a variety of sports activities, such as cross-country, field hockey, football, soccer, track, wrestling, baseball, lacrosse, softball and golf. Sussex Technical School District is located in Georgetown, Ga.
