Well known, upscale restaurant in the French Quarter. Adjacent to the Roosevelt Hotel, which by itself is a must-see. When dining out, I appreciate the food, the atmosphere and perhaps most importantly the service. The staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about us enjoying our dining experience. They were very busy while we were there and a couple of times we were left waiting long periods of time. Best known for its gourmet pizza, which I had and was excellent. The rest of the menu was very good as well, according to my fellow diners. I would give the atmosphere a B+, the food a B+ and the service a B. I would recommend it to others and would consider dining there again while in New Orleans.
My favorite place to eat in NO. Great food - the red beans and rice are the best I've ever had, the pizza is excellent and the salads are great. I always eat there at least twice when in NO. Across from the French Market so It's also a great place to people watch.
I used to be a meat lover's fan, but I have found a new love - Roma's Artichoke pizza. This is by far the most delcious pizza i have ever tasted!!! I live on the west bank and I find myself traveling across the river for an artichoke pizza from Roman Pizza.
