        Since being founded in 1990 by its two partners, Charles J. Katzenstein, Jr. and R. Dennis Lorance, the firm has handled thousands of cases. The firm added an associate, Ashley E. Lorance, in 2010. Katzenstein and Lorance attorneys have over 85 years of combined experience. Its attorneys are active in the community and have been recognized on numerous occasions for their pro bono work through which they provide free legal services to people who cannot afford to pay.

        Ashley Lorance is one AMAZING lawyer. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND her! She was always honest and upfront with us, kept us informed throughout the entire process, replied to emails/calls very quickly and always stayed on top of everything. She is also extremely affordable. My case was a rather challenging one and Ashley exceeded my hopes and expectations in MANY ways.         I recently retrained Ashley Lorance with Katzenstein & Lorance in Gastonia to help me with a change in child custody and child support modification. Ashley did an excellent job helping me with both of these issues. Ashley is extremely professional and was very diligent in getting these issues resolved for me. The law firm’s rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend Katzenstein & Lorance.
