Buddy's Auto Machine Shop

took 2 cylinder heads and a pair of manifolds up there. after almost 3 months nothing was done on the manifolds and over the last 3 weeks he kept saying it would be just a few more days, just a little bit more. If you go there, call him weekly, as if something comes up like a part needs to be ordered, he will NOT call you. You HAVE to call him. The first two months almost nothing got done because of that. Also get a written quote when you drop the parts off. I didn't, and was charged for a 3 angle valve job that wasn't done. He knocked $30 off the total (the valve job was originally quoted as ~$80) when I confronted him, and played off the discrepancy as how good he said he did something else. I consider my time wasted with Buddy as a mistake, but one I can learn from.
