The place is very nice inside....

The place is very nice inside. Many of the rooms are 4/4, so be prepared to sign a joint lease (and KNOW what that entails...for example...you can't sublet unless ALL of your roommates approve which is absurd). The one bedrooms here are more expensive than Bella Vista (across the street) and don't come with a parking space or anything other than internet paid. I guess that's what you get for "luxury".

Shawn is nice enough but he lives about an hour away. He works almost all of the time and is willing to help, but it's hard to own properties and be an hour away in my opinion simply because many shipping companies (UPS, FedEx) won't leave packages at apartment complexes (and there is no office to send the packages).

Overall, it was an okay experience. In the 4/4 there are two very small rooms and two very large ones, so make sure to haggle with your roommates for the large rooms. Rent CAN be split unevenly...the lease does allow that.



Update:

Do not expect to get your security deposit back fairly. Even if you weren't living there the last month before moving out (under a lease that wouldn't let you sublet anyway so you lost the full amount!), expect to pay those utilities out of your security deposit because the "lease says so".

Wholly disappointed in my experience here. The place is nice material-wise, yes, but the management is lackluster (and that is being charitable). I would rather rent from Trimark at this point. And this is coming from a person who filed for constructive eviction under one of their properties.



Rent under this landlord at your own risk and indiscretion.
