        Gainesville Health Care Center is part of the nonprofit Gainesville Council on Aging, a provider of skilled nursing and long-term care services. It is a more than 150-bed health care center that has been serving the Alachua County community in Florida since 1982. Its rehabilitation department offers therapies, including physical, occupational and speech. It offers services, such as 24-hour skilled nursing, wound care, hospice and respite care, dental and optometry services, infusion therapy, respiratory monitoring, and pain and case management. It also offers facility of recreation and socializing, transportation, on-site beauty and barbershop and access to religious services. The center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, workers compensation and various managed care plans and private insurance. Gainesville Health Care Center is located in Gainesville, Fla.

        Did a show for North Florida- used to be their name- back in July 2018, still have not rec'd payment for entertainment provided. Every time we speak to the director George Hamilton and accounts payable person, they promise will be paid within the week. Almost a year later and several promises for payment and still no check rec'd. I have to seriously question the integrity of the facility by the actions, integrity and lack of leadership of the director.
