never get a taxi from Unimet Taxicab. I had a really horrible experience. I called and booked a taxi for the next day morning at 6:30 AM. I asked several time to be on time and they said the taxi will be there even 5 minutes earlier. Next day, the taxi driver came at 6:50 AM, so I missed my flight.

The taxi I ride was almost like a junk car. Driver is rude. The meet was 20.03. He asked for 22. That's fine. I won't forgot tip him even if he didn't ask more that the meet said. I gave him $25, asking for change. He only gave me back 2 bucks. Did he even pass first grade math? I would not recommend this taxi company to any one. That's the worst taxi service I have ever seem.

My wife and I were going on Christmas vacation to Europe in 2012. We called Gainesville Maroon Cab for a taxi to pick us up from home and take us to the Gainesville airport. The driver showed up 10 minutes earlier, handled our bags very carefully and took us to the airport. We had a short but interesting chat with him. The price for the cab was reasonable. We used Gainesville Maroon Cab one more time since then and had the same pleasant experience. We recommend this company to anyone who needs taxi services in Gainesville.

Awsome driver. Dispatch sucks, especially the chinese guy. If you can get a cab out sooner than the others your good to go. Drivers are good, so far. Out of all the cab companies in Gainesville this has been the best. Good luck finding a Cab company worth a damn here. You think there would be something beter in a town with so many DUI's.

I just want to say this cab service rips you off ... doesnt get the right address correct.... the man is self owner so there is no one to complain to about him... he lies and jumps up the meter when your not looking let alone hidden fee's... he can't talk correctly... my expericance with this cab was horrid I would never reccomend anyone to ride this cab... let me not forget how hot the cab was and the AC was on ... I registered so I could do what the last guy did! and that is to warn you all how this cab service guy and his ride is a joke. He was about to leave me and my bf somewhere when we told him it was a round trip to pick up something and drop us off at our place and we didnt take no more then ten minutes and we told him to keep it running and he tunred around and wanted to leave us there... Can't trust him.,.. Hope you all read this and choose wisley....

Awful. I registered just to write this review. The person attending the phone and making the reservation is rude. The taxi was not there on time for a very important appointment. They refused to apologize when we called them to complain making all sorts of excuses. We ended up having to call someone else. Run away from this people. They also seem to be writing good reviews about themselves online because there is no way the previous review is for the same taxi company I had to deal with.
